Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff by Sereus

Format: Commander

Commander: Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov hatebear prison uses Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff as a value engine while 27 stax pieces lock opponents out of searching, drawing extra, casting multiple spells, and activating abilities. The primary plan is to establish Archon of Emeria, Thalia, Clarion Conqueror, and Drana and Linvala effects, then grind advantage with Smothering Tithe, Esper Sentinel, and Lotho treasures. Secondary paths are a hard land lock with Kormus Bell + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and a board wipe with Maha, Its Feathers Night + Elesh Norn. Elspeth, Storm Slayer acts as hidden commander, doubling tokens with Mondrak, Glory Dominus to create a lethal anthem board. Lotho ramps but is not required for any win.
