Deck overview

This Selesnya aggro deck leverages Kudo, King Among Bears to turn every creature on the battlefield into a 2/2 Bear, generating asymmetric value from symmetrical effects. By converting low-cost 1/1 tokens—such as Soldiers, Saprolings, and Pests—into base 2/2 creatures, the deck doubles the effective baseline power of its go-wide army while simultaneously shrinking oversized opposing threats down to modest 2/2s. The strategy deploys dense 1-to-2-mana ramp to establish Kudo on turn 2 or 3, swiftly follows with token creators like Hop to It and Tendershoot Dryad, and layers global buffs such as Intangible Virtue, Beastmaster Ascension, and Overrun. Unique synergies like Ayula, Queen Among Bears turn every token entry into targeted creature removal or permanent stat growth, while Reverence establishes a formidable defense against opposing 2/2s. Robust instant-speed protection like Clever Concealment and Grand Crescendo shields the wide board from sweepers, ensuring inevitable combat finishes.
