Deck overview

This deck is an explosive five-color Dragon tribal midrange strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. Capitalizing on the commander's Eminence ability to reduce all Dragon spells by {1} from the command zone, the deck accelerates out massive, high-impact flying threats turns ahead of schedule. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC ramp artifacts and land fixers to reach five or six mana by Turn 4. From there, the deck establishes engines like Temur Ascendancy, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and Ganax, Astral Hunter to turn creature deployment into compounding card draw, mana generation, and direct burn. Lethal board states develop rapidly on Turns 5 through 7 through doubled combat damage, ETB triggers from Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas, or swarm tokens via Utvara Hellkite. While susceptible to targeted disruption and sweepers, the deck leverages potent plan shielding like Teferi's Protection and Deflecting Swat to secure overwhelming aerial finishes.
