Teysa Karlov - The House Always Collects by AigleFess

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Teysa Karlov pilots a classic Orzhov aristocrats build that turns every dying creature into fuel: her doubling ability multiplies the Skullclamp/Dark Prophecy/Smothering Abomination draw engines, the Pawn of Ulamog/Pitiless Plunderer mana engines, and the suite of Blood Artist-class drain payoffs. The primary win is a family of infinite sacrifice loops built around Gravecrawler, Nether Traitor, Reassembling Skeleton, and the Reveillark/Karmic Guide pair, all converging on the same table-wide life loss. Drivnod, Carnage Dominus is a functional second copy of the commander in the 99, and Teysa, Orzhov Scion acts as a hidden commander adding a repeatable exile engine. A secondary big-mana plan uses Cabal Coffers/Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth into Bolas's Citadel and Necropotence to bury the table in cards. Six-plus tutors, a dozen sacrifice outlets, and a low 2.76 average mana value make the deck highly consistent.
