Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Howling Abomination is both the finisher and the engine: every targeted spell makes it grow and pings opponents, while cantrips keep the hand full. The main plan is to cast the haste commander, stack as many 1-mana targeting spells as possible, and turn it into a huge attacker, using Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to spread lethal commander damage to all opponents. Backup paths use Zada, Hedron Grinder, Mirrorwing Dragon, and Leyline of Resonance to copy spells across a token board, then close with Grapeshot storm or Chandra's Ignition. Zada acts as the hidden commander, letting the same cantrips draw many cards and pump the whole team.
