Commander: Mikaeus, the Unhallowed

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mono-Black Zombie Aristocrats build helmed by Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, who turns every non-Human creature into an undying engine. The deck floods the board with Zombie tokens and recursive bodies, sacrifices them for value through Carrion Feeder and Ashnod's Altar, and drains the table with Blood Artist-class payoffs. The primary path to victory is the infinite combo suite enabled by Mikaeus's undying - most cleanly Triskelion for infinite damage, or Putrid Goblin/Gravecrawler loops with a drain piece on board. Wide fallback lines include mass reanimation via Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms, devotion drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and a big Exsanguinate. The commander is the fulcrum: he provides the +1/+1 lord buff, the undying recursion, and the combo piece that most win lines hang on.
