Deck overview

This deck leverages Thanos, the Mad Titan's full five-color identity to execute a high-velocity reanimator and enter-the-battlefield (ETB) midrange strategy. By combining premier 1-mana green acceleration with efficient graveyard-enablers like Buried Alive and Unmarked Grave, the deck rapidly deposits game-ending threats into the graveyard. Low-cost reanimation spells—such as Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Persist—cheat out massive board presences including Titan of Industry, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Nezahal, Primal Tide ahead of curve. Blink enablers like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Ephemerate extract compounded value from these threats, while Thanos himself offers an asymmetric odd-or-even board wipe directly from the command zone. A comprehensive suite of free and efficient defensive interaction safeguards high-priority plays, culminating in decisive combat closers such as Overwhelming Stampede or Warstorm Surge to dispatch all opponents.
