Vampire Lifegain Upgraded by lordofkhaos

Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov lifegain deck uses Liesa, Shroud of Dusk as a passive tax piece while the real engine is lifegain into drain. You gain life from Vampires, upkeep triggers, and spells, and each gain triggers Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Bloodthirsty Conqueror to drain opponents, with Exquisite Blood turning any gain-loss pair into an infinite loop. Liesa adds 2 life loss per spell cast and lets you pay life instead of commander tax, but she does not combo. Secondary wins come from large X drains like Debt to the Deathless and Exsanguinate or Vampire combat with Crossway Troublemakers and Elenda. Vito and Sanguine Bond function as hidden commanders you tutor for consistently.
