Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir ninjutsu tempo and cheat strategy commanded by Satoru Umezawa. The core game plan deploys low-cost unblockable creatures on the early turns, casts Satoru on Turn 3, and utilizes his ability on Turn 4 to ninjutsu massive game-ending creatures directly into play attacking for only {2}{U}{B}. Cheating in threats such as Ancient Silver Dragon, Archon of Cruelty, or Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger creates insurmountable card advantage, severe life loss, and asymmetric permanent destruction. Satoru's static trigger filters through your library whenever you activate ninjutsu, ensuring continuous access to fresh threats and answers. If the combat damage route is stalled, the deck transitions seamlessly into compact alternate win conditions, including a Doomsday pile into Thassa's Oracle or an infinite turn engine with Panoptic Mirror and Time Warp. A tight suite of cheap counterspells, efficient removal, and protective creatures defends your board while keeping opponents off balance.
