Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Discard and Blink Midrange build centered on Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The strategy accelerates on early turns with mana rocks and discard enchantments before deploying Kefka on Turn 4. Kefka's symmetrical discard ability forces every player to discard while refilling your hand based on the card types discarded. The deck turns this attrition into a decisive advantage using damage amplifiers like Liliana's Caress and Megrim, token generation from Waste Not, and creature suppression from Archfiend of Ifnir. Repeated enters-the-battlefield triggers from flicker spells and undying effects strip opposing hands completely. Once opponents are starved of resources, the deck finishes the table around Turn 7 through combat damage, wheel bursts from Windfall and Dark Deal, and high-impact reanimation targets like Archon of Cruelty. Robust countermagic and low-cost protection spells ensure the engine survives interaction.
