Deck overview

This deck leverages Azlask, the Swelling Scourge to command a five-color Eldrazi swarm strategy. The game plan focuses on generating large quantities of colorless Eldrazi Spawn and Eldrazi Scion tokens through efficient drones, spells, and enchantments. Sacrificing these tokens accelerates mana velocity while steadily accumulating experience counters on the player. Once 5 to 8 experience counters are stored, activating Azlask's five-color ability transforms small 0/1 and 1/1 tokens into lethal, indestructible attackers with annihilator 1. Supporting card-draw engines like Skullclamp and Smothering Abomination keep resources flowing, while flexible devoid removal answers opposing threats. Because experience counters stay with the player rather than the commander, the deck recovers rapidly from board wipes, presenting an overwhelming combat clock across turns 6 and 7.
