New Untitled Deck by Nevetsnehc

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic elfball/landfall hybrid built around Thranduil the Strategist, who turns every other Elf into a Birds of Paradise and every land drop into a 1/1 Elf token. Extra land plays from Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Icetill Explorer compound the Landfall trigger, so the board and the mana pool grow together. The deck finishes through Craterhoof Behemoth/Finale of Devastation mass-pump overruns, or Invasion of Ikoria into Zilortha, Apex of Ikoria so the elf swarm assigns damage as though unblocked. It can also pivot into deterministic infinite-mana lines - Staff of Domination with a big dork, Seedborn Muse, or Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring/Mana Vault - with Thrasios, Triton Hero as the draw-the-deck outlet. A compact free-counter suite protects the kill, and a second Elf Noble in the 99, Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally, backs up the landfall plan.
