Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red stompy and attrition strategy commanded by Herigast, Erupting Nullkite. It accelerates early through efficient mana rocks and value fodder creatures, then casts Herigast on Turn 4 or 5 for a discounted emerge cost while refreshing the hand with three fresh cards. With Herigast active, every creature spell gains emerge, allowing the pilot to chain mid-cost fodder or temporary stolen creatures into massive Eldrazi titans for negligible mana. On Turn 6, cast triggers and Annihilator attacks from titans like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and Hideous Taskmaster dismantle opposing boards and present lethal combat clocks. While the deck boasts immense board presence, rapid recovery, and oppressive permanent attrition, its reliance on sorcery-speed plays and lack of instant-speed stack interaction leave it exposed to fast combo decks.
