The Dark Lord by Dakofomax

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis LotR value deck that builds an Orc Army and Wraith board, using ring-tempt triggers to draw cards through Sauron. Primary plan: ramp to Sauron, turn ring-tempt triggers into mass card draw, and grow an Army with Saruman's amass; close with trample equipment or All Will Be One direct damage. Secondary paths are reanimation, steal effects, and a Wraith swarm with Lord of the Nazgul. Saruman, the White Hand acts as the hidden commander for the amass plan; Lord of the Nazgul is a second engine. There is no infinite combo; the usual finish is a huge evasive Army supported by counter-based pings over several turns.
