Deck overview

This Mono-White deck is piloted by The Sentry, Golden Guardian, pairing an indestructible 5/5 flying commander with damage redirection, combat taxes, and Voltron equipment. Upon entering the battlefield, The Sentry gifts an opponent The Void, a 5/5 indestructible token that must attack each combat. By attaching Pariah, With Great Power . . ., or Pariah's Shield to The Sentry or Phyrexian Vindicator, all incoming damage dealt to you is absorbed or reflected back at opponents. Meanwhile, attack taxes like Ghostly Prison, Dáin, Lord of the Iron Hills, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer deter hostile swings and direct enemy combatants elsewhere. Equipped with Commander's Plate or granted double strike via Duelist's Heritage, The Sentry rapidly eliminates opponents in two-hit commander damage cycles. Robust protection spells and platinum effects ensure long-term survivability while grinding out the table.
