Deck overview

This Jeskai tokens deck is commanded by Akim, the Soaring Wind and focuses on swarming the battlefield with creature tokens to overwhelm opponents through combat and direct entering-creature burn. The strategy combines low-cost token generators like Release the Dogs, Secure the Wastes, and Song of Totentanz with token doublers such as Anointed Procession and Divine Visitation. Payoffs like Arabella, Abandoned Doll, Slash, Reptile Rampager, and Impact Tremors convert wide boards into table-wide life loss, while Akim's activated ability grants creature tokens double strike to close out games. The deck also includes an incidental two-card infinite creature combo with Intruder Alarm and Krenko, Mob Boss. Because the list has minimal cheap interaction, no countermagic, and 12 taplands, it trades raw speed and reactive disruption for high-synergy battlefield presence.
