Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Simic midrange build centered on Elrond, Master of Healing, converting scry actions into wide-reaching +1/+1 counters. By combining Lord of the Rings Elves with classic green-blue counter and landfall synergies, the deck steadily develops a threatening board presence. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration with cards like Llanowar Elves and Arcane Signet before deploying Elrond on Turn 4. From there, repeatable scry sources such as Sylvan Anthem, Season of Growth, and Cryptic Annelid distribute counters across your creatures while smoothing your draws. The deck applies lethal pressure around Turn 6 by granting evasion and overwhelming stats through Unnatural Growth, Skatewing Spy, and Garruk's Uprising. While the strategy generates steady card flow and large creatures, it relies heavily on creature combat and carries minimal interaction, making it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
