Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable Polymorph engine in the command zone. The 99-card library contains strictly four creature cards: Archon of Cruelty, Dack Fayden, Helping Hand, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Venser, Fervent Forger. The game plan revolves around generating inexpensive creature tokens in the early turns using spells like Bitterblossom, Raise the Alarm, Kuldotha Rebirth, and Rat Out. Once Jace enters on Turn 3 or 4, activating his -3 loyalty ability guarantees hitting one of these game-altering bombs directly onto the battlefield. Cheating Archon of Cruelty generates immediate attrition and card advantage, while Dack Fayden, Helping Hand pulls the remaining three creatures from the library and gifts them to opponents under permanent goad. A format-ceiling interaction suite featuring Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Silence, and Teferi's Protection shields the engine while combat beats and recurring life drains eliminate the table.
