Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy built around Kellan, the Kid. It leverages mechanics that cast spells from outside the hand—such as Plot, Foretell, Disturb, Flashback, and Adventure—to trigger Kellan's ability, cheating permanent cards into play or ramping additional lands for free. Supported by cards like Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius and Vega, the Watcher, the deck steadily accumulates board presence and card advantage. Its interaction package includes flexible counterspells, spot removal, and bounce effects to manage opposing threats. Without infinite combos or sudden combat overruns, the deck aims to grind out value in the midgame, assemble an evasive flying army, and close out the match through incremental combat damage over multiple turn cycles.
