Deck overview

This is a classic Temur Animar, Soul of Elements counters-and-cost-reduction deck. The plan is to land Animar early, stack +1/+1 counters through a dense creature suite, then convert that discount into enormous X-spells (Hydroid Krasis, Walking Ballista, Shivan Devastator), free Eldrazi, and value engines. Counter doublers like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire accelerate the snowball, while creature-cast draw (Beast Whisperer, Primordial Sage) keeps the hand full. Infinite lines via Ancestral Statue, Cloudstone Curio, and Walking Ballista serve as the backup finish when the fair route stalls. Protection from white and black on Animar plus boots and cheap hexproof spells help the engine stick. The deck wins through combat annihilation, direct-damage outlets, or compact infinite loops once the cost reducer is online.
