Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis flash-tempo and combat-value deck helmed by Fire Lord Azula. The core plan is to land Azula, attack to generate Firebending mana, and cast spells during combat so her attack-triggered copy ability doubles every spell-permanent spells become extra tokens. A dense flash package (Leyline of Anticipation, Vedalken Orrery, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, High Fae Trickster, Tidal Barracuda, Winding Canyons) enables that combat window. Secondary axes include ninjutsu and combat-damage thieves (Fallen Shinobi, Silent-Blade Oni, Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion, Grima, Saruman's Footman), clone/mimic bodies (Gogo, Master of Mimicry, Echo, Perceptive Prodigy, Taskmaster, Mercenary Mimic), and high-impact ETBs (Massacre Wurm, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Bogardan Hellkite, Armaggon, Future Shark) cast on the attack for double value. There are no infinite combo lines; wins come from attrition, drains, and combat pressure.
