Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Beorn the Fierce as an engine commander to convert Bear-tribal synergies into continuous card draw, board buffs, and overwhelming combat steps. In the early turns, it deploys low-cost ramp spells and small utility Bears such as Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Wilson, Refined Grizzly. Landing Beorn on Turn 4 establishes a steady draw engine of two cards per combat while granting permanent trample counters. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 5 using catastrophic beaters like Jumbo Cactuar and Worldspine Wurm, or decisive multipliers like Triumph of the Hordes and Unnatural Growth. While it lacks stax effects and countermagic, its thick mana base, resilient beaters with ward or hexproof, and protective spells like Heroic Intervention provide ample fuel to run over three opponents across successive combat steps.
