Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Izzet combo deck centered on Vivi Ornitier. Vivi converts every noncreature spell into +1/+1 counters, direct burn to all opponents, and free colored mana. By enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout, every noncreature spell deals 1 damage to each of the three opponents and draws three cards. This massive card draw allows the deck to chain through mana rocks, rituals, and cantrips in a single continuous turn. The deck finishes by burning the table out through 40 Vivi triggers, escaping cards with Underworld Breach, or creating infinite hasty attackers via Dualcaster Mage and Molten Duplication. Backed by a dense suite of free countermagic such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, along with protective pieces like Hexing Squelcher, the deck reliably shields its win attempts while disrupting opposing fast combos.
