Deck overview

This is a mono-black Aristocrats/recursion deck helmed by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The primary plan is to convert life total into a resource, play the most impactful black spells at a discount, then drain Advantage. The deck plays an "artistocrats" game of life-gain/life-loss loops, using recursion engines like Bolas's Citadel / Aetherflux Reservoir and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to convert every life gained into a damage clock. Card draw and selective tutoring keep the engine pieces flowing while the high basic land count and rituals make the deck surprisingly robust. The deck wins by assembling two or more "inevitability" packages: either a giant Gray Merchant drain, a repeatedly flickered Vito, or an Aetherflux machine-gun snipe.
