Deck overview

This Boros aggressive deck leverages Lightning, Army of One as a fast, evasive commander capable of inflicting severe damage through its Stagger mechanic. By combining efficient Equipment tutors with damage doublers and extra-combat engines, the deck rapidly scales Lightning into a lethal threat. Supported by Sunforger, the list maintains an adaptable toolbox of premium removal and protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm to safeguard its investments. When the commander is unavailable, secondary beaters like Cloud, Planet's Champion and Aurelia, the Warleader or the infinite combo of Combat Celebrant and Helm of the Host ensure consistent closing power.
