Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger/amass hybrid helmed by Saruman, the White Hand, whose amass-on-noncreature-spell trigger turns every cantrip, draw spell, and removal piece into Army growth. The deck's core loop is simple: cast noncreature spells to pump a single Army token, then cash it in through fling effects like Chandra's Ignition, Soul's Fire, Fling, and Kazuul's Fury, or swing with a trampling, double-striking Army after Assault on Osgiliath. Secondary lines include infect via Tainted Strike and Glistening Oil, counter-based burn from All Will Be One, and value engines in Kess, Dissident Mage and Grima, Saruman's Footman. The deck is a midrange value pile that wants to out-draw opponents while growing one overwhelming threat, with Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain as force multipliers that accelerate the Army into a one-shot kill.
