Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis enchantress control strategy piloted by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The primary game plan revolves around deploying defensive pillowfort enchantments to deter attacks while resolving potent Curses onto opponents. Lynde transforms the natural vulnerability of Auras into an advantage: when Curses go to the graveyard, she returns them to you, drawing two cards each upkeep as you reattach them to your foes. High-end engines like Curse of Misfortunes systematically pull synergistic win conditions such as Curse of Bloodletting and Curse of Thirst directly from the library to vaporize life totals. A supporting suite of sacrifice outlets (Claws of Gix, Despotic Scepter, Braids, Arisen Nightmare) enables on-demand Curse recycling, ensuring continuous card flow. While single-target attrition requires multiple turn cycles to close out a full four-player table, the deck's defensive barriers and sustained card advantage allow it to outlast aggressive strategies.
