Lonis Clues by user5893946

Format: Commander

Commander: Lonis, Cryptozoologist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic token-value deck built around Lonis, Cryptozoologist, leveraging his ability to turn every nontoken creature ETB into a Clue and then cashing in those Clues for permanent tutoring. The deck's primary game plan is to generate an overwhelming volume of Clue tokens through a dense package of investigators, token doublers, and landfall triggers, then convert them into a board-winning army via Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, or the alternate win condition Mechanized Production. The commander acts as both a card-advantage engine and a flexible tutor, but the deck lacks fast combos and relies on incremental value and combat inevitability. Secondary wins include Second Harvest for a massive token swing and Tangletrove Kelp turning Clues into 6/6 beaters.
