The Astonishing Ant-Man by Gorgonsqual

Format: Commander

Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Simic +1/+1 counter deck built around The Astonishing Ant-Man's draw-trigger growth and his ability to convert counters into Insect tokens. The primary plan is to cast Ant-Man early, layer draw-per-counter effects such as Terrasymbiosis and Proft's Eidetic Memory, then use Growth Curve, Fangs of Kalonia, and Biogenic Upgrade to snowball his size and hand size. Secondary paths are wide Insect-Horde beats from Iridescent Hornbeetle and Ant-Man's activation, plus Jolrael or Biomass Mutation as a hand-size overrun. A possible combo of Wizard Class level 3 plus Pensive Professor draws the deck, but it needs an outlet. No hidden commander exists; the only double-faced card is Harmonized Trio // Brainstorm.
