Deck overview

This deck uses Eriette of the Charmed Apple to turn Auras into defensive shields and a steady life-draining clock. Early turns focus on deploying mana rocks and cost reducers like Killian, Ink Duelist to cast Auras efficiently. Once Eriette enters the battlefield, attaching Auras like Darksteel Mutation, Planar Disruption, and Coercive Impetus to opposing creatures prevents them from attacking you while forcing them into combat with other players. Card draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer maintain resources as you build a dense board of enchantments. Eriette steadily drains each opponent's life total during your end step while gaining life, eventually overwhelming the table alongside tokens from Archon of Sun's Grace and mass recursion from Retether. The deck excels at controlling creature-based boards but remains vulnerable to non-combat combo lines and mass enchantment exile.
