Deck overview

This Jeskai aggro deck is commanded by Captain America, Team Leader, who turns every subsequent Hero creature into an immediate, vigilant, and growing threat by granting haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters upon entry. The deck executes a proactive board-centric strategy, curving from early mana rocks and utility creatures into mid-game combat powerhouses like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger, and Iron Man, Armored Avenger. The primary game plan achieves critical onset by Turn 5 through wide, evasive attacks with modified creatures, closing out the table by Turn 7 via exponential combat multipliers and asymmetric disruption like Raise the Palisade. While the deck features strong internal creature redundancy, resilient combat protection (Bastion Protector, Captain America, Super-Soldier), and solid incremental card flow (Kindred Discovery, Avengers Assemble!), its reliance on building and maintaining a heavy permanent board leaves it vulnerable to non-destroy board wipes and dedicated stack interaction.
