Deck overview

This deck is a Voltron-Reanimator hybrid led by Indominus Rex, Alpha. The primary strategy focuses on deploying ramp during the first three turns, followed by casting the commander on turn 4 while discarding multi-keyword creatures such as Sire of Seven Deaths, Hit-Monkey, and Blor the Impervious. This allows Indominus Rex to enter the battlefield with built-in hexproof, indestructible, trample, and haste while immediately drawing 5 to 7 cards to replenish resources. With inherent resilience against most common removal, the commander rapidly eliminates opponents through commander damage, augmented by evasion and combat amplifiers like Genji Glove and Luxior, Giada's Gift. Discarded creatures double as prime targets for reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead, providing a potent backup attack plan. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells and targeted removal protects the engine and disrupts opposing win attempts.
