Kavu Onslaught by pprkut

Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Memorial Ensign

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tannuk, Memorial Ensign is both the landfall damage engine and the secondary draw engine; the deck is built around making two or more land drops each turn. The primary plan is to chip every opponent with Tannuk's landfall, use the second trigger to draw cards, and then convert a board of +1/+1-counter Kavu into a one-turn kill with Unnatural Growth, Beastmaster Ascension, or City on Fire. A backup plan is a large trampling Kavu or Chameleon Colossus under Eldrazi Conscription. There is no hidden or double-faced commander; all lines still rely on Tannuk staying on the battlefield.
