Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The game plan revolves around leveraging Kibo to give Banana tokens to all players, turning symmetric resource gifts into asymmetric value. When opponents sacrifice their Bananas for mana or when you forcibly destroy them with cards like Gorilla Shaman and Vandalblast, Kibo and your Ape/Monkey creatures grow rapidly via +1/+1 counters. The deck converts this escalating board presence into victory through devastating power multipliers such as Unnatural Growth, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Chandra's Ignition. Supporting engines like Viridian Revel and Return of the Wildspeaker refill your hand as artifacts hit the graveyard, while defensive tools like Heroic Intervention and Dosan the Falling Leaf protect your big swings. While vulnerable to creature wipes and fast spell combos, the deck applies relentless combat pressure and heavily punishes artifact-centric opponents.
