Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Derevi, Empyrial Tactician alongside a compact, high-velocity combo and stax engine designed for competitive tables. The primary win condition combines Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy with Basalt Monolith to generate infinite mana on turn 3, funneling that mana through Kinnan activations, Spellseeker, and Finale of Devastation to eliminate all opponents on the spot. If the primary plan is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into creature-based flicker loops using Preston, the Vanisher and Felidar Guardian or Emiel the Blessed with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. The deck protects its lines using format-staple free countermagic and proactive silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos, while asymmetric tax pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Sanctum Prelate slow down faster opposing decks. Dense tutors and low-cost acceleration ensure reliable execution with minimal variance.
