This deck is a five-color Spellslinger engine that leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex and the Prepare mechanic to double spell efficiency. Creatures with prepare spells enter ready to cast their integrated instants and sorceries, and Codie duplicates each prepared spell cast. This engine seamlessly feeds Paradox triggers from casting spells outside the hand (Kellan, the Kid, Vega, the Watcher, The Lost and the Damned, Impending Flux) as well as Magecraft triggers (Archmage Emeritus, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Professor Onyx). Supported by blink engines like Emiel the Blessed and Skycoach Conductor to refresh prepare states, the deck quickly generates overwhelming card flow and mana velocity. It transitions from early board development into a decisive Turn 5 critical onset, closing the game on Turn 6 through compounding life drain, massive token swarms, or scaled direct damage.
