Deck overview

This mono-black deck is built around sacrificing recursive fodder to turn death triggers into cards and life drain. The front face of Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER is the primary engine: it draws cards on sacrifice/attack and converts each death into a one-life swing, eventually transforming for an emblem that doubles the drain. The back face is a finisher/engine once flipped. There is no hidden commander, though Ayara and Yawgmoth can serve as backup engines. Real wins come from infinite life-loss loops, usually Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Vito/Enduring Tenacity/Marauding Blight-Priest with any initial ping, or an Altar-based sacrifice loop with Blood Artist. Tutors and Ad Nauseam assemble the combo; Gray Merchant is a midrange backup.
