Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads a Naya lands-matter and counter-growth deck that weaponizes terrain into aggressive attackers. The game plan centers on ramping basic and utility lands to trigger potent landfall abilities while Toph steadily animates lands into recursive creatures with counters. Explosive counter multipliers like Kalonian Hydra, The Earth Crystal, and Mossborn Hydra scale these animated lands and creatures into towering threats. The deck closes games through overwhelming trample damage, burn triggers from Sabotender, Spitfire Lagac, or Casey Jones, and massive damage amplification from Raphael, the Muscle, while earthbent lands naturally return to the battlefield if removed.
