Deck overview

This is a Jund "sacrifice-and-flip" value deck built around Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire. The plan is to ramp into the 6-mana dragon, then attack each turn to force every player - including yourself - to sacrifice a permanent and flip the top card of their library onto the battlefield. The deck is built to exploit both sides of that trigger: cheap permanents that reward dying (Ichor Wellspring, Mycosynth Wellspring, Heaped Harvest, Sakura-Tribe Elder) and a permanent-dense list so the flips usually hit. Sacrifice payoffs like Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, and Grave Pact convert every sacrifice into cards, counters, and forced sacrifices, while token engines (Bitterblossom, Dragon Broodmother, Ant Queen) keep the fodder flowing. The deck wins through attrition: big flyers, forced sacrifice, drain effects, and Etali, Primal Conqueror's infect transformation as an alternate kill. It is a slow, grindy midrange deck with no infinite combos.
