Deck overview

Talion, the Kindly Lord is a Dimir combo-control deck. Its primary plan is a one-turn kill with Demonic Consultation emptying the library and Thassa's Oracle or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries as the outlet. Talion is not part of the combo; he is a cheap draw-and-drain engine that punishes common spell/creature values and buys time. Secondary paths are Bolas's Citadel chaining and a Peer into the Abyss pile with Psychosis Crawler/Sheoldred or Psychic Corrosion mill. The deck leans on dense tutoring, free countermagic, and instant-speed disruption to force the combo through interaction.
