Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a draw-doubling and token-doubling engine at the helm of an Azorius token deck. The primary plan is to cast Bard, then convert second-draw triggers from Shorikai, Minn, Prince Imrahil, Mischievous Mystic, Alandra, and Homunculus Horde into tokens, while Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Esper Sentinel, and Smothering Tithe generate extra cards and treasures. Redundant token multipliers (Anointed Procession, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, Exalted Sunborn) make the board explode. The deck finishes with critical-mass attacks, usually powered by Moonshaker Cavalry, or with exponential growth from Homunculus Horde and Horn of Gondor. There is no hidden commander; Bard's face is the one the deck is built to use.
