Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron build centered on Captain America, First Avenger. The deck circumvents high equip costs through Captain America's Catch ability, which automatically attaches an Equipment at the beginning of combat. Captain America's Throw ability turns high-mana-value weapons into targeted burn and creature removal, particularly devastating when granted deathtouch via Basilisk Collar. Dense Equipment tutors guarantee rapid access to premier tools like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Hammer of Nazahn, and Sunforger. While the deck develops massive burst damage through extra combat phases and double strike, its reliance on combat damage to eliminate three distinct players stretches the clock across multiple turns. It compensates with potent defensive cards like Teferi's Protection and tutorable indestructible pieces, though it remains vulnerable to sustained mass removal.
