Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats strategy led by Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder. It pairs sacrifice outlets and aristocrat payoffs with a suite of temporary creature-stealing spells. By taking control of the strongest opposing creatures and sacrificing them to Evereth or supporting altars, the deck converts opposing resources into +1/+1 counters, card advantage, and Treasure tokens. Edict engines such as Grave Pact and Rottenmouth Viper suppress opposing boards while Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mayhem Devil drain opponents with every death trigger. High-impact late-game spells like Bolas's Citadel, Breach the Multiverse, and Rise of the Dark Realms generate overwhelming card and mana advantage to close games. When Evereth dies, paying its trigger deals damage equal to its power to every opponent, providing a direct finish that bypasses combat steps entirely.
