Deck overview

This deck is a thematic and aggressive Grixis midrange build centered on Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Early turns focus on deploying low-cost mana rocks and casting Norman Osborn to generate early card selection via unblockable connive triggers. On Turn 4, transforming the commander into Green Goblin activates a {2} mana discount on spells cast from the graveyard and grants mayhem to every nonland card discarded that turn. The deck leverages this cost-cheating mechanic to rapidly dump and deploy high-power Villains like Abomination, World Ravager, Doctor Doom, and The Squadron Sinister. With Anger providing haste and Archfiend of Ifnir sweeping opposing blockers with -1/-1 counters, the deck pivots into an overwhelming combat clock around Turn 6. While vulnerable to dedicated graveyard hate and sweepers, redundant discard enablers and mass reanimation spells provide solid mid-game resilience.
