Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain typal midrange strategy commanded by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. In the early turns, Norman Osborn leverages unblockable attacks to connive, filtering your hand, growing your commander, and filling the graveyard with high-impact Villain creatures and spells. Once transformed into Green Goblin, your graveyard becomes an extended hand where discarded cards gain mayhem and spells cost {2} less to cast. The deck builds a resilient board of synergistic Villains such as Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Madame Hydra, and Doctor Doom, King of Latveria that trigger repeatedly off connive and creature entry. The late game transitions into lethal pressure through mass reanimation spells like Patriarch's Bidding, anthem overruns with Coat of Arms, and direct damage from Syr Konrad, the Grim and Crossbones, Malicious Mercenary. While vulnerable to graveyard hate and creature sweepers, the deck maintains steady recovery and flexible threat lines.
