Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari token and aristocrats strategy commanded by Slimefoot, the Stowaway. The primary game plan focuses on ramping during the early turns, establishing Slimefoot alongside steady token generators, and leveraging death triggers to drain the entire table while buffering your life total. High-output engines like Tendershoot Dryad, Mycoloth, and Doubling Season create a swarm of Saprolings that can be converted into massive mana via Ashnod's Altar, Cryptolith Rite, or Insidious Roots, and into cards via Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Victory is achieved through non-combat drain from Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Zulaport Cutthroat, supported by overrun combat pressure with Eldrazi Monument or an infinite drain loop with Ashnod's Altar and token doublers. While the deck possesses resilient card draw and strong board presence, its reliance on multi-permanent board states leaves it susceptible to exile board wipes.
