Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to convert normal card draws into a lethal asymmetric resource swing. By combining forced group card draws with continuous life-loss punishers, the deck steadily bleeds the entire table while keeping its own life total high. Early turns focus on mana acceleration with efficient rocks like Arcane Signet, Jet Medallion, and Sol Ring to deploy Sheoldred on curve. Once established, cards like Dark Deal, Howling Mine, and Underworld Dreams rapidly deplete opposing life totals, while Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles the incoming damage. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combo using Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond to instantly drain the table. Robust interaction including Deadly Rollick, Toxic Deluge, and Dauthi Voidwalker disrupts opposing strategies and denies graveyard resources, providing a resilient and oppressive game plan.
