Commander: Sliver Overlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Sliver "toolbox combo" deck commanded by Sliver Overlord. The plan is to accelerate into an early Sliver Queen or Sliver Overlord, then assemble an infinite mana/token engine and tutor up a kill condition. The deck is simultaneously a classic aggressive Sliver board - Sliver Legion, Muscle Sliver, Predatory Sliver, and Sinew Sliver make alpha strikes genuinely lethal - and a compact combo deck built around Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver, Mana Echoes, and Intruder Alarm. The commander's tutoring ability makes nearly every Sliver in the 99 a silver bullet: combo outlets, protection pieces, haste enablers, and interaction can all be found at will. The deck's main tension is that it wants to win through the command zone's tutor engine, but its stack protection is thin enough that a well-timed opposing interaction can force it to grind through its secondary The First Sliver/Than the Boundless value plan.
