Deck overview

This mono-red Equipment and artifact deck uses Maximus, Knight Apparent to tutor a 2-mana Equipment and turn spare artifacts into energy. The primary plan is Voltron: protect Maximus or another modified creature with Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, or Champion's Helm, then grow it with Fireshrieker, Brass Knuckles, Bloodforged Battle-Axe, and energy counters from Assaultron Dominator and Behemoth of Vault 0. Secondary paths go wide with Junk tokens from Duchess, Rose, and Crimson Caravaneer, pumped by Steel Overseer and Brotherhood Vertibird. Mystic Forge acts as a hidden commander, casting artifacts from the top of the library for sustained advantage.
