Deck overview

This Jeskai "Superfriends" deck is helmed by Commodore Guff, a planeswalker commander whose -3 ability draws cards and deals damage equal to the number of planeswalkers you control. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of planeswalkers, proliferate loyalty counters aggressively, and then either deploy Guff's -3 for lethal, turn planeswalkers into dragons via Sarkhan the Masterless, or chain extra turns from Ichormoon Gauntlet and Ral Zarek. The deck leans heavily on its planeswalker redundancy-nearly twenty unique walkers-and a dense proliferation package (Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, Grateful Apparition, etc.) to accelerate ultimates. Pillowfort pieces (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda) and a handful of board wipes provide time to assemble the winning engine.
